As a Data Scientist at Stitch Fix, I use data and statistical inference to help us delight our clients and run the business more effectively.
Previously, as an R&D Data Scientist at Sum Labs from 2014-2015, I used machine learning, physics, and engineering in a cross-disciplinary approach to try to enable people to better understand their bodies and their health.
From 2011 through 2014, I was a member at the Institute for Advanced Study. Before that, I was a postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University (2008-2011). I received my Ph.D. in Astronomy in 2008 from Columbia University and my B.A. in Mathematics (summa cum laude) in 1999 from Amherst College.
